VR_Dogfighter Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 I have to say I'm really dissapointed with this update as the outside world now looks like its rendering at 80% or something with distant aliasing especially much more prominent. ID'ing planes at a distance is now much more difficult compared to the crisp view I had before this update when I was acheiving monitor-like visuals with a G2 in VR. Then there's the overwhelming haze that appeared in the December update. I'm not sure what 'skydome' issues there were before, or noticed any difference in the sky now, but for me in VR, this is a serious step backwords and really hope something can be reversed here.
=420=Syphen Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Very strange. I can't help but feel that it looks just as good or better for spotting with my Reverb G2. I do keep my config ini files all read-only so my settings aren't wiped out between updates. Did you do any funky update combos with SteamVR in addition to Il2?
VR_Dogfighter Posted March 17, 2022 Author Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) Well that's sort of e couraging, that it's ok for you. What do you mean about Steam VR updates? It's been updating a few times lately and I've let it get on with it. PS.. What SS do you render at? I'm at 100% but seen a slight improvement trying at 120% Edited March 17, 2022 by Nake
