Ju88 C6 - VR limit "bubble" is extremely small on its sides

Hello,

after trying the C6 yesterday (beautiful bird) the VR Limit bubble seems to be unreasonably small on left/right side.

If positioned right in the center of the 'bubble':

  • cannot lean either right or left even by an inch without moving the bubble
  • cannot even ROTATE/PAN my head left or right without moving the whole bubble

It feels like my head is simply LOCKED in place, which is extremely uncomfortable.

It's an extreme immersion breaker on the MP servers with VR limit enabled.

It's the same tight limits in pretty much all of the large planes sadly:

Reposting my +1 from the other thread:

I also think the current limits are  unrealistic and disorienting. Keeping my body stationary and turning it 45 degrees to the right will push the entire plane away
from me, which is directly uncomfortable. I also fly the plane with trackIR and the limits are nowhere as bad in there but feel entirely natural. I have no objections to those - but in VR it's very uncomfortable.

It feels like the VR limits assume the camera is 30 cm further forward than when using trackIR, and I'm also prevented from leaning around the head-armour. I second the request for adjusting these limitations a little. Especially since I can't see how it would in any way make the game worse for the people who think the current limits are fine.

I don't understand how this is considered "fine" by some people/ the developers. Are they only playing in single player with "allow spectators" turned on?! I should not have more room to move my head around the inside of the bf109 than I do in one of these huge twin engined cockpits.

I don't need them to fix it tomorrow but recognition of it as a legit problem would sure be nice. I'll happily buy more things on their store to gift to wingmates if they do! Happy to support them with my wallet because even with it's flaws this is the best darn VR flight sim out there.

It's a big part of what puts me off playing IL-2 in MP, the restrictions are definitely over the top.

I only started using head-tracking fairly recently, and was pretty shocked at how much more freedom of movement you get in it vs VR. Don't understand why that is.

I understand them perhaps not wanting you to stick your head through the window/cockpit either for immersion or balances sake (though I'd prefer to be able to do it tbh), but currently it feels like you're wearing a space-helmet on your head that restricts your movement even more than the tight cockpit itself.
