1CGS BlackSix Posted March 16, 2022 1CGS Posted March 16, 2022 Hi all, The lighting has changed a lot in the update 4.703. I highly recommend to check all your missions that start at dawn or dusk, it can get very dark there now. Screenshot below with version up to and after 4.703. 2 1
IckyATLAS Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Absolutely correct there is about one hour difference and at that period of the day it makes a very big difference visually. A mission that was starting at dawn started at night. I have checked with an astronomical almanach and now the times and moon are correct with the calendar. Another example of a problem related to the moon is that I have a mission with Po2s that starts in the midst of the night something like 20 minutes before moonrise and so it is pitch dark but after you can be better seen by the enemy because it is full moon. Now with the corrected calendar, time is not correct but it is not full moon either. I can arrange the timing but not the fullmoon. And here the difference is many days. Because the mission is in a campaign and the missions are dated and have a chronology, I cannot move the date or I must move the dates of all the missions in the campaign. To make it simple either you accept a crescent moon and you change your description text to that or the only other way is to "cheat" and what is mentioned in the mission description is not what is set in reality. You would then have a full moon on a date where there is none. I hate that.
