Motorsound01 Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 (edited) Hallo all, maybe my question has been asked by other members (then sorry!): I don't understand why the 109-pilot lean so much forward when he looks through the crosshairs (Gunsight-view). IMHO that's not realistic, because the safety belts fix the pilot very strong over the shoulders (and that's necessary because of the maneuvers at the limit). Or is it an error of mine? In Spit and Hurri it is not so much and more realistic in my eyes. Thanks for answer! Edited March 16, 2022 by Motorsound02
LLv34_Flanker Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 S! In the 109 the sight was offset slightly to the right. I hardly use the so called gunsight view, just leaning as required by using the tracker.
Motorsound01 Posted March 16, 2022 Author Posted March 16, 2022 Yes, I know that the Crosshair weas slightly to the right in the 109. But that's no reason in my eyes, why the the pilot must lean so much forward when you change to Gunsight-view.
5th_Hellrider Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 If you are using the track ir (or similar) I advise you not to use the "gunsight-view" at all. The gunsight-view can be useful for those who don't have this type of equipment and is practically the view to aim, as if the pilot is focusing by watching on the gunsight.
