Missing planes from Kuban purchase

I'm new to IL-2 and I purchased the Kuban map. None of the planes that were supposed to go with Kuban are there. The map is there and the key has been activated. Any ideas on what I should do?

What exactly are you trying to do where you are not seeing the Kuban planes? Did you try running a Quick Mission and select, say, a Bf 109 G-4 or  a P-39L-1? In the Quick Mission, try choosing one of the round plane icons on the map rather than the round star or cross icons (these are for complex quick missions, which may or may not have the full complement of planes yet). Also, planes available in multiplayer missions are defined by the server admins and mission makers.

Hello All

I was over at Popgun1955 's house trying my best to help him.  In my efforts to help I made a mistake. I told him the Spit 9 was included in the Kuban Map. It is, of course, not. We all know it is included in Bodenplatte.  Your efforts to help us is nevertheless, 1st class.

None of those aircraft are apart of the Kuban package - that is likely why he isn't seeing them. Those are all Battle of Bodenplatte aircraft.

Those planes are in the Battle of Bodenplatte module!

 

In Kuban are the following planes:

 

2 Collector Planes (Spitfire Mk.VВ and Hs-129 B-2) if you bought the Premium version

 

Standard version:

- Yak-7b Series 36

- Bf 109 G-4
- P-39L-1  

- Fw 190 A-5
- IL-2 AM-38F (model 1943)    

- Bf 110 G-2
- A-20B
- He 111 H-16

We went to the Quick Mission Stalingrad map and then to the Kuban map, selected the single aircraft icon, then we opened the drop down box to select the plane to fly.  None of the planes included with the Kuban map purchase, like the Spit 9 , the 51, the 47 or any other plane included with the Kuban package were listed there.

The Missions folder was populated with Kuban missions. We went to his profile and purchases. There we could see where he had purchased the Kuban upgrade. We checked the activated keys and the Kuban key was active.

Kuban is Soviet and German aircraft.  So Bf109G-4, P-39, etc. The premium version has the Spitfire V, not the Spitfire IX.

The Kuban planeset is pretty great though. The P-39, Yak-7B are a lot of fun - and the Bf-110 and Il-2 variants have some of the largest number of weapon options. Plus mountains!!
