Is there a zoom view in VR?

Just curious, is there a zoom view for VR, it sure would help with ID of friend or foe. Thx

Yep, there is. Can't remember where it is though, sorry. I have it mapped to a joystick button.

Yep five levels of zoom assignable to buttons on HOTAS. No axis, just buttons. Have a look in settings, listed under Pilot Head Control category, 5 levels of Quick Zoom.

Cool thing is that you don't need to assign all five - if you assign say zoom level 1 and 5 then if you press them at the same time you'll get zoom level 3.

I just use two zoom levels - I keep it simple.

Yes, same. Perhaps map the farthest zoom, then one that helps you see cockpit detail the best. That's what I did.

Great thank you, I thought maybe it was the camera zoom setting, assigned it to my hat switch but it never worked, never thought to check under pilot head!

Yeah, I have the middle level and the max for those purposes as well.

Same. Maximum zoom to look at targets and one middle(?) magnification to let me look at cockpit instruments better.
