Gunners sight magnification toggle?

Hello Chaps!

 

I've been fiddling around with this game for a while now and a large problem is that I cant see a bloody thing. It's like trying to shoot ants from the bathroom window. The regular +-zoom helps but it's still quite rubbish.

 

Surely there must be some way to toggle the magnification on the gunners sight? There is something called "Gunsight mode toggle" and "Gunsight power toggle" in the settings, but those buttons doesnt seem to do anything. I know the old Sherman has atleast a 3X sight and the jerry tanks a lot more than that.

Zoom in as far as you want (in German tanks the large reverted triangle on top should meet the top of the screen) and press F10.

One of the things I really don't understand. Gunsight zoom has to be toggled, just like the bombsight of aircrafts and the commander's binoculars. Allowing zooming in the gunsights is purely arcade mode.

I use the wheel on my mouse.  You might need to set your key bind to this however.
