Albatross D.Va Paint issue

I'm working one some personal skins for the Albatross using the template (of course), and I'm having a devil of a time trying to find where these black spots on the wing and landing gear struts are.  Can someone point them out to me?  I've seen in other skins that these two locations can have the Albatross model stencil on it - but I don't see that stencil anywhere in the template.

Here is an example of the default Albatross and the same locations.  There are also some custom skins some of you have painted that show either the struts being blank of this (or black rectangles), or having the same stencils as above.  I've also re-downloaded the default Albatross template, and when I create a new skin from the default paint scheme on the template, the same black rectangles exist.

 

I've tried to hunt this down on the template and do not see this stencil or text anywhere on it at all.

Maybe hidden in some related texture file elsewhere? It's that way with that German Sdkfz flaktruck, graphics\vehicles\\sdkfz10\textures folder.

Haluter's uses a system with extra #1.#1 numbered pointers.

I thought of that, and hunted through the file structure, checking the Albatross bump map texture just to be sure (located in \Data\graphics\Planes\AlbatrossD5\Textures), but it's not on there either.  I can't find any other file that looks like it would have relevance to this.

Just looked it up; various albatross added files are in the Planes8.gtp file ...

I did actually find where this is located on the template after hunting through it layer by layer:

The white underlayer behind them is in the "Shading" folder, on the "Baked Shadows" layer.  The text itself is no longer on the template - you'll have to add it (I used the Bookman Old Style font with a slight horizontal scale adjustment to 90%).  You'll also want to add a layer underneath the letters to cover up the white blocks with black, otherwise the letters will have a white border due to the anti-aliasing when the skin renders.
