Anyone willing to make this skin?

Do not post swastikas. You may repost the image if you edit it.

Already done (not by me, it was in my skins).

It's for a G2 so you'll have to modify it in an editor I guess.

I did a quick mod.

Just for the record, try not to post any images with a visible swastika.

Not my rules but just letting you know...

It's not a "Red 1", Hermann Graf Bf-109 G5  flew  this "Green 1" short time related with JG 50 as High Altitude Fighter!

You can download this paint scheme and get historical information's from my pages related to JG 50:

Bf-109 G5 and G6 related to Graf & Grislawski and JG 50...

https://rafiger.de/Homepage/IL2-BOS-Museum/Info-JG50/Info-JG50-Messerschmitts.htm

Right now these skins are older and by Friday you find the updated version using my new template based on ICPD's public version but still featuring a different Normal Map (use with JSGME MOD Option for easier handling).

Actual In-Game shot:

Thank You. So then "Red1" would be considered fiction never existed?

Yes, a "Red 1" is fictional, because as you could read the information's based on the books I refer to in writing and official deployment list secribed  I./JG 50 as "Stabseinheit", which means that their Numerals was painted in "Green" following Luftwaffe painting and marking guidelines.

But of course a "Red 1" fictional in a Flight simiulation like IL2 doesn't break the game, because 100% accuracy is only seldom possible because of the lack of having photographs of planes during that time from all sides and angles, so I see no problem if its suits you and you like it ;)

If you have a plane in original camouflage in a museum, that's possible to do it :)

Here’s a quick and dirty guide to Luftwaffe tactical markings for future reference.

You can identify which squadron an aircraft belongs to within its wing (gruppe) by the colour of its individual identifier marking. This marking took the form of a number in single-engine fighter units and the third letter in the group (geschwader) codes of other units (i.e. M8+EP).

Green indicated that an aircraft was part of the wing’s HQ flight. White, red/black, and yellow were the colours of the wing’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd squadrons (staffeln) respectively.

Blue, meanwhile, was used for the entire group’s HQ flight - a Luftwaffe group typically consisted of three wings, each with three squadrons (plus HQ flights for the group and each wing).

For much of the war, however, fighter group and wing HQ flights used arrows, chevrons, bars, circles, and lines (with the odd number or letter T slipped in as well) rather than numbers. These markings were typically black for the group and wing HQ flights, but the combinations of shapes differed between both types of HQ flight.

This wasn’t a comprehensive guide or anything, and it doesn’t cover the colour of markings used by special units like 10. (Jabo)/JG 2, but I think it’s a good starting point :)

I have updated the paintschemes on the page as single files, the MOD file for all three skins will follow as soon as possible. Right now you could copy the Normal Map manually to the right folder.
