JS81Knows Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Hello all. In awe of some of the skills here. A basic question that I haven’t found the answer to yet… some of the campaigns are *redux - what does that mean?!
56RAF_Roblex Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Well a Redux is something that has been revived and usually improved. I would guess that in the context of campaigns it means it has been rewritten to take advantage of new features brought into the game.
Sokol1 Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) When Cliffs of Dover was released (in Alpha state) in 2011 don't have any campaign. After a patch add the "Cliffs of Dover" and "Adder Tag" campaigns, the first trying add "drama" to storytelling through voice dialog with a very meh combat sim gameplay. The "Redux" are the same campaigns re-write, and re-scriped by Heinkill and Bolox adding a kind of "football" gameplay: "RAF score one", "Luftwaffe score three", "shoot down two planes for win the mission." ? And a bit of background, you can cross with other RAF flights done their missions, see Luftwaffe formations passing above for hit London or somewhere. Edited March 5, 2022 by Sokol1 1

I shall find the new versions!
