I'm back in as well.  This is good because my P-47 pilot was no doubt missed during the morning patrol.  lol

 

I'm glad to know it's something that might be intermittent, I can always work through missions and scripted campaigns.

Now I have logged in normally. In the Czech Republic.

So, i am not able to log as i want. Or directly i can't log.

My issue is the next.
 

• Doesn't log
• If logs, all my post 3.004 version stuff bought on steam, doesn't work. Since STEAM doesn't tell me where are the keys anymore,  this 3, are totally unusable.
• 
• If i can log again, there is no adverstiment that my account needs to be linked. 

 

So my fear is that, somehow, the master server issue have corrupted my account. But i'll give a day or 2. If persist i will send the ticket.

I just bought the game and trying to download the installer. It's moving at 85kbps. Something is definitely wrong.

The DNS servers of our registrar nic.ru were attacked by DDoS in the evening. Later, the work of the DNS servers was normalized. But apparently now the attack has started again.

 

To access the game, you can temporarily edit the config file - IL-2\data\master.cfg

replacing the line

proxy_name = "alpha.il2sturmovik.net:443"

to

proxy_name = "174.129.204.103:443"

 

 

the original master.cfg file should be saved somewhere just in case

Anyone still having problems with connection? I am from Spain and still having the same response (Master server) when trying to log in...

I had the same problem with the client, but it's now working.

That what Vaal posted is the solution.

Change the extension, master.cfg file to master.txt, then you can edit the file with Notepad.

Copy the new Adress( 174.129.204.103:443 ) and save the file, after that change it back from txt to cfg.

That's all, works fine.

Tried last night and all was well, no problems!

Just had this issue, made the changes to master file, problems went away immediately.
