Unclear on instructions for moving Great Battles to another drive (on same PC) [SOLVED]

I've copied the entire folder structure for Great Battles to another drive on the same PC, but when I run the launcher (which shows 'PLAY' as the bottom button) it claims that I need to update the sim (even though the launcher shows it is up to date (with the PLAY button shown)).

The instructions on the website mention making sure I install all 3rd party items from the 3rdParty folder of Great Battles... but I'm unclear what I am supposed to do.  The only EXE there is the dotNet exe.

Could someone outline the specific steps required (to relocate the non-Steam version of Great Battles to another drive on the same PC)?

I should point out that it appears to work ONLINE, but gives me that error message (Error #00001?) only when I try and play offline.

UPDATE: Got it working.  It was fixed by me going into online mode (ending up at the main menu of the sim), then exiting, and then going into offline mode after that.  Seems like maybe it just needed to be in online mode for a moment, maybe to get its bearings or something.  Seems to be working fine now.
