This has always been and still is a real life problem with tail-draggers. You need to zig zag a bit and try to look out the side of the cockpit when taxying. Cheers
migmadmarine Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 If you're not the first in line, just wait for the guy to either your front right or front left to depart, and you'll be in the clear, since the aircraft always spawn in a staggered column. 1
Nihil_ Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 (edited) hello, if you open the canope (right alt+c) you can move your head further up and to the side for better visibility. i only do this for taxiing tho, as Mr Migmad said just wait for the plane next to you to start moving Edited March 2, 2022 by Nihil_
Giggles Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 if you can... external view is a beautiful helper. Especially at take off and crash landings

Majpalmer Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Turn on the tags. You can see them moving. Then once airborne turn them off.
40plus Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Lean out the side and look... verify a clear runway before you power up. Close the canopy then tell Chewy to punch it. The first step is the key one though....lean out the side

Lord_Strange Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Just exclusively fly the He-111. Problem solved! 1

[CPT]Crunch Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 There's always the multiplayer solution, stomp rudder toward the closest side of the runway while holding the wheel brake, pivot 90 degrees, and than jam full throttle and go. 4

Spinnetti Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 Its kinda funny. on realistic difficulty, why not fly like a real plane then? It was no different in real life. You have to do what are called S-turns. go a bit to the right, and look out, then go to the left then back until you have a clear runway. In the game however, you can usually see a dust plume or something for the plane in front of you. Just wait for that, do a couple s-turns to confirm then take off.
Jaws2002 Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 IAR-80/81 should be good for visibility on take off and landing....
