Lord_Strange Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Poor field of fire and a small ammunition box that runs out very quickly, so your gunner is reloading almost as often as he's firing. Don't think there's anything actually wrong with the gunner AI. 1
ROCKET_KNUT Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 They aren' t designed as actual gunners. They only act as a counterweight for the pilots brass balls, required to throw this aircrafts crew into a fighter infested environment most multiplayer servers are. ?? 2
Giggles Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Well I do not believe the issue with just one gunner... its all of them. For some reason MY gunners would rather whoot at my wing mates then at the enemy. SOO tired of flying a ju-88 and seeing the "fired on friendly penalty applied" all the time.

Now they are just useless, you can sit at the bombers 6's without much punishment; On a sidenote... even before the update the a20 gunners (the top one in particular) werent much effective due to their small field of fire and small magazine/drum/ammobox 1
Feldgrun Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 After having great success shooting up bombers from their 6 o’clock on GB, I flew in 1946 and got the crap shot out of me when using the same tactics.

ShamrockOneFive Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 There's a reason that the later versions of the A-20 switched to a powered turret with two .50cals. 1
Ala13_UnopaUno_VR Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Hahaha the tail gunner is as useful as the nose spotter ? who has no sight
Vishnu Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 What does the nose crewman even do? Is he just some relative of the pilot up for an adrenaline fuelled joyride? 2
ROCKET_KNUT Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 His name is Vassili and he is arguing with the pilot. Constantly... ? 1 4
