How to set up a coop mission

I have a noobie friend who wants to be a gunner.

I made a coop campaign mission in PWCG with the Bristol.

How do I get him in the back.

Someone talked about you needed to use Dserver? Which seems complicated. Just opening a port to host a game is overly complicated. 

So do I need the dserver? Or can I host a regular coop server?

You can use the in-game server.

1. Go to Multiplayer > Cooperative and click on Create Server.

2. Setup a password at the top if needed.

3. Select Available from Internet.

4. Choose the  mission and place it in the rotation.

5. Set other options and click Continue.
