Thorne Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 I would consider modifier buttons/keys (EG: g key + p key = command a new function, or throttle button 1 + throttle button 2 = command a new function) pretty standard stuff at this point in flight sims - modifier keys allow you to literally double your possible buttons per device in addition to making dual use of axis. Are there plans to implement this functionality soon? 1
SharpeXB Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 (edited) I believe the game recognizes Alt, Ctrl and Shift as modifiers. If you set your joystick buttons to emulate these keys they’ll function as such. Edited February 22, 2022 by SharpeXB 1
357th_KW Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 It also recognizes the difference between left and right alt/ctrl/shift as well as the windows key, so that gives you at least 7 possible modifiers.
76IAP-Black Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 I would be happy if il2 supports the switches on the hotas warthog.
