Why no SMAA or TAA antialiasing?

I wonder why we only have MSAA and FXAA.

Warthunder dragor engine got TAA implemented and its engine is used since 2003. 

Arma 3 has SMAA and CMAA and it's engine is super old as well. Not sure if an old base engine stops them making a newer iteration of it.

It doesn't.

 

Just a question of priorities and income vs cost, as always.
