I wont order anything else than BoX again from 1C. TC was a huge disappointment. The product was good, but the lack of interesst from 1C to solve bugs and tiny single player part changed my trust in this company again. After BoS many player were disapointed, after Kuban i thought they have learned, but TC prooved it wrong.

I'm also very disappointed with TC. The biggest mistake was that there is no career mode and there will not be. Models in the game are great, even the given missions such as the campaign are well playable, but there should be much more of that from the developer side. What is constantly supported and improved are just the flying chamberlades. Also by Jasson for ages nothing read here, everything makes me think.

Nothing wrong with TC. Nothing is perfect by anyone and I always manage to find a fight. Not sure why others cant. I find enough scope in the game online that I need never look offline.

The BlitzPigs have been having fun with tanks of late.  Now that my skills with the Mission Builder have improved.  I have a rather large mission where we can fly high altitude intercepts, do ground attacks, and fight in tanks in the German city of Unkel.  Honestly we are running the tanks more than flying on that map.

I was unbuttoned in my Sherman last weekend when I heard a very distinct growling above me.  I looked up and there was a Ju52 piloted by one of the guys.  He dropped paratroopers right over me.  It was fascinating to watch from ground level. Good thing for me it wasn't a Ju88!

Point is, we are enjoying TC.  Fighting in a city is interesting and difficult.  Your destruction can come suddenly, from any direction, no matter if you are in a Sherman, or a Panther. Very challenging.

Yes BlitzPig_El, it's the mission building and better mission scenarios in a multiplayer environment that allow TC to shine to it's highest potential.  I don't blame the Single Players though for the lack of control and immersion.  With Pat's new Tank Crew mission generator and as he tweaks it, the ability to pump out a challenging mission and track a career, might be possible now.  It's in alpha stage so I'm sure it needs some tweaking, but at the very least this might give guys a generated template to work with and greatly add to the game.  Have to give it time to see....

Well, the last bigger improvement was in April 2021 with the new visual dmg model.  Almost a year ago.

There was small graphic improvement to the exhaust flames in September 2021 and two new vehicles are coming probably after the summer.

No news about TC2, no news about new tech, bigger improvements, infantry, no new official campaigns.

I will wait til the end of summer for the new vehicles and hopefuly some bigger news. If not there is no hope and we are doomed.

All I want is some darker Panzer skins in the Official Folder.  And we can't even get that.

Were there dark paint schemes for German armor and vehicles late in the war?  All I have ever seen are variations on the base sand color.

Thatswhy i wrote offline. Online TC is a good game, but offline it sucks. Bad AI, only some missions, bugs, no campain. I played TC through in a few hours. The Tiger demo mission 5 years ago was great, but never achieved again. Kursk was a huge battle field, TC completly wasted it.

Wrong question, quick seek cover ;)

Every scheme would be better than the current sand scheme. I fact there were many schemes, but all 5 tanks have the same shiny scheme useless in green environment.

Well seeing as this is a simulation, my question stands.  Did the Germans have dark paint schemes for their armor in use from the time of Kursk onward?  Every photo I have seen of a mid/late war German tank showed it in a light color or a variation of the sand color and the reddish primer done because they were running short of paint.

This pic below is just a quick hit from another post here on the forums.  If you go online there are many more.  I think the thought is here "more green, less yellow."  We stickout like a sore thumb with multiplayer pilots who are looking outside the render zone from a far distance for "little yellow pin heads,"  I.e. trees are useless to hide under when they apply this technique which is perfectly legal and results from a limitation in the game mechanics.

"Rotbrun" was also used at Kursk.

PS one could consider Kurk "mid-war"  By late war I would say nearly all their tanks were darkened up with Rotbrun and Dunkerlgrun due to the fact they were getting the sh*t kicked out of them by enemy planes from both sides.  Maybe one day we'll get bushes, LOL.  One step at a time though.

At that time the standard would have been dark yellow factory-applied base colour with (or without) varying amounts of field-applied, over-sprayed green and/or red brown.

AFAIK, that would have been standard until the end of the war. Germany never switched to using dark green base colours.

First put TC aside, I'm very disappointed that it's
somehow only done as a sideline here. The most important thing seems to be the flying comrades.
My hope now rests on Tank Squad.?

I have no idea if there is only a view from the outside.
In any case, there seems to be infantry. Wait and see what else comes along.
From time to time they post these developer diaries on Steam.
