Honeymonster Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Work in progress thanks to the incredible talent of Aviasim. I will probably connect the wiring to an external control box/Pro Micro as to make an interface PCB is currently beyond my knowledge. This stick is a work of art, insanely comfortable and cheaper than anything from a main stream manufacturer. If anyone knows a way of interfacing to the WinWing directly I'm all ears, I don't fancy a destroying a WinWing stick just for the PCB. Just waiting for my Kanttorin Jabo to be completed which should compliment this very nicely... ? 3 2
Honeymonster Posted February 20, 2022 Author Posted February 20, 2022 It seems this may be easier than I thought... WinWing do an adaptor that works with the Warthog/Thrustmaster grips and this consists of simply wires an a plug. This would suggest that if I simulate a Warthog grip I will be golden. This should mean I can just use an 8 BIT shift register breakout board and a mini DIN plug to complete the conversion. A very simple and neat solution indeed. ?
Sokol1 Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Yes, the fact that WingWing and VirPil have compatibility with Warthog in some of their bases make easy add any grip in their bases (excluding VKB grip's, they are a kind o Apple), just need 1 to 3 CD4021 Shift Register in the grip interface. BTW - In OSPark Debolestis have files for order 8 bits or more PCB for CD4021. https://oshpark.com/profiles/Debolestis/page/2 1

It was actually through finding old threads you and Debolestis were heavily involved with I got most of the information. The internet is a wonderful thing for finding solutions to problems! So many talented peoples ideas and research brought together in a way that was never possible before it ?
Jg7_Dutch Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Hi Did you end up using the Debolestis circuit board? I cant get it to work... i think i did something wrong..can you help me out?
