IckyATLAS Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Welcome to the forum. If you can give us a little more details we may be able to help you. Are you on Steam. What is your system. Is it a basic laptop or a top gun gamer machine? What kind of CPU and GPU. You seem to say that it was working normally before. Do you use the launcher? Are you on Win10 or Win11 etc. etc.
JG300_Marsmann Posted February 17, 2022 Author Posted February 17, 2022 hello, thank you for your help; yes I am on steam; my system is a laptop ACER with cpu Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz, 8 GO of RAM, graphic card GEFORCE GTX1650. I installed Windows 11 two days ago, but IL2 was wroking fine after installing windows11. I also tried to lauch the game thru Steam by click on ''PLAY'' on the game, but same problem. I check all files integrity with the application in STEAM, it says 7 files was missing but I think they have been installed again after that. I also replace my monitor 3 days ago but the game was working after that. what do you think I must do now? thank you again and also I switched OFF my antivirus, no change. I also can tell that Cliff of Dover is runing fine, F1 2019 and UBOAT as well, no problem with these games and STEAM.
IckyATLAS Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 I am not sure I can help here, maybe someone other is able to do. Steam, Laptop and Win11 is a combination which is not known to me unfortunately. Sorry for that.

I don't know much about Win11 but on Windows 10 you can go to the 'event viewer' and see any errors that have happened, sorted by date and time. Maybe try going into whatever the windows 11 equivalent is and see if there are any errors listed there for when you launch Il-2? Maybe there has been an update between now and when the game worked that is causing an issue. You can also activate logging for crashes for Il-2, try and launch it, and see if a crash dump is generated. Then you can post it to the forums in the stickied thread "Finding the cause of a random crash...".
JG300_Marsmann Posted February 18, 2022 Author Posted February 18, 2022 hello Redkestrel, thank you for your help; how can I activate the logging for crashes ? in STEAM or in my computer? thank you a lot And There has been no update between now and when the game worked. Other question, where is the ''event viewer'' on Windows 10 please? thank you
JG300_Marsmann Posted February 18, 2022 Author Posted February 18, 2022 hello, I find the problem; on my graphic card GTX1650, I change the '' prefered graphic board'' in ' NVIDIA high performance ' , instead of ' integrated graphics' . I don't know why it has been changed automatically before, may be when I installed the driver for my new monitor ViewSonic. anyway, it works fine now; thank you a lot to every bodies. Have fun! ? 2
