Piciu Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Hello! I have a question to devs. We have different kinds of players. Some of them are playing with mouse and keabord, some prefer VR and others are using TrackIR with additional hardware. I'm the player who use some hardware, joystick, throttle, panels and switches. For me in this game there is a lack of additional key bindings. And here is my question: Are you planning to add some of them in the future? What I'm mean? We have keybinds like "Gear up/down" but also "Gear up" and separate "gear down". I'm interested in this type of bindings. For me it would be great to see separate key bindings like: open canopy, close canopy, prop feather on, prop feather off ( dividing it to 1,2,3 engine would be the best). There are many more of them like ordnace drop selection: select from fuselage or wings, pairs, all or single. Tail wheel lock and unlock, same with parking brake. Lights could be also separatly on and off. Thesa are my thoughts. I don't know if it is hard to implement this to the game but I think it would be kind step for people who are using different kinds of additional hardware panels, switches etc. Good day! 1 7

I'm all for your suggestion. Have a nice day.
bblonski Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 (edited) I'll also voice desire for this feature. Currently the usefulness of a lot of high end throttles, specifically the Thrustmaster Warthog, is quite limited. This is a big advantage that DCS and MSFS have, and even the $15 Lunar Flight game does this much better. I imagine the players with high end flight gear might be the biggest spenders and are worth targeting. Some suggestions for controls to separate on/off in order of importance: airbrakes, bomb bay doors, autopilot, engines, canopy, parking brake, lights. Edited February 23, 2022 by bblonski 4
Soilworker Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 My suggestion, I've said a few times before but I'll say it again: Separate binding for stick mounted, single axis wheel brakes lever. Currently "Wheel Brakes" operates all brakes, including toe brakes. It would be nice to have this separate so we can double-bind the front brake in the Me262 to a stick mounted lever. I know it's not really useful for most players but it should be a really simple thing to do, make a copy of the "Wheel Brakes" command and stop it from affecting toe brakes. 1
