[SOLVED] - Failing Mission Depsite Completing Objectives

Hi,

 

Just started to use PWCGFC.  On the first mission generated, I have on 3 occasions completed the mission objectives (simple patrol and engage enemy aircraft) and RTB, with a successful landing only to receive a mission failure.  When exiting out of IL2 and checking the activity report in PWCGFC I get the message:

 

PWCG Could not perform AAR.  Unable to find matching logs for xxx.

 

Re-reading the PWGC installation guide I can see there is reference to setting a value in setup.cfg.  I have no setup.cfg however, only startup.cfg.  My presumption is that is the issue...

 

Is this a problem that has been encountered before, and the resolution is known?

 

Just to add, I do have what seem to be mission reports in my data folder.  I have attempted the mission once today and it has generated 73 mission report text files.

Open startup.cfg with notepad and change the indicated string so that it ends with a 1 instead of a 0, then save the file.
 

This tells IL2 to create an after action report that PWCG will use to know what you did in your mission.

I have - section reads as:

I have mission logs being generated.  I have attached one example.  As mentioned in the original post I am getting numerous mission reports generated per flight, I dont know whether that is right or not.  The reports are being generated in the data folder.

 

I realise that there are 2 issues I'm facing:

 

1. I keep getting mission failure, despite completing (as far as I know) mission objectives.  I am however skipping a couple of way points - can that cause a failure?
2. Mission logs cannot be accessed/seen by PWCG

Update.

 

Deleted startup.cfg, deleted all generated mission logs and deleted PWCG.

 

Started game, reset settings to generate startup.cfg, and then re-extracted PWCG.  Went through campaign setup procedure using a different player/campaign name.  Generated mission, flew mission for 2 mins (take-off, circle and landing) and went to AAR.  PWCG proceeded to show me the claim screen.

 

I will fly the mission fully later and post results.

 

Regarding mission (1) - Search on forum showed this as not an issue, but expected behaviour.

SOLVED.

 

Deleting startup.cfg, PWCG, all mission logs and re-extracting PWCG fixed it.  10 missions in now and all fine.
