Il2 Game not starting

Hi All,

 

I double click on Il-2 Sturmovik game in Steam and nothing happens. It was working fine a few days ago.

 

I have tried validating integrity of game. No joy

 

Is anyone having this issue? I've never had this issue in the 4 years I've been playing Il2!

UPDATE: I tried running the game from the direct directory (not through Steam) and I got a VCRUNTIME140.dll error.

Basically I had to re-install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Latest

 

Hope this helps anyone who has the issue also.
