Angry_Kitten Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Well im on the market for a new stick, had an interesting even with mine a t1600m.... the usb cable is now loose, moves in and out an inch.. iv left it in one spot on desk, never moved it around, the cord is lovingly managed and left alone... now if i pick it up and tip the thing sideways, it will make the pilot view cam move all over the place, and screw up the keyboard controls for view. SO, im just curious what sticks are actually good for the game, and can survive heavy usage.. I was using mine last year for about 8 months straight of 3-4 hours EVERY NIGHT.. so more then light usage.

Try a different port to confirm whether it's the cable or the port.. .02

From my understanding, the VKB Gunfighter, the Virpil MongoosT-50CM2, and the Winwing Super Libra bases are good for a generation. They are pricey. If you want something cheaper, but more solid than t1600, the VKB Gladiator would be next in line. The Thrustmaster Warthog is a mixed bag--the grips are really sold, but the bases can wear out after awhile. YMMV.
