Important things to fix immediately

hi, 

 

1) Parachute landing into water - died ? really?

2) Parachute landing into woods - died ? holy man why ?

3) Landing on ground within airport area with Gear on the smallest possible speed and Pilot killed - why?

4) Taran impossible to do - Pilot always killed .

5) Fly in top speed, fast input to the elevator control = Pilot killed, and lost wings. How is that possible to move by controls in such big movement in such fast speed? You restricted movement of controls by high speed in very early update, so why from the last update it is again possible more with Pilot killed?

 

THe game is unrealistically killing my pilot, like he is NOT fastened in his chair in cockpit ? WHY ?

I wouldn't want a simple reversal to what used to be. Taran was still not really that possible (for the most part) - but I wasn't really that afraid of hitting the ground. Now I am (which is good).

1) Parachuting into the water isn’t fun - chances of getting drowned by your own parachute are high. Freezing to death from late autumn to early spring also is very likely. Of course dying is not certain but not unrealistic. 
 

2) the very least which you could expect from citing into the woods are crippling injuries preventing you from ever flying combat aircraft again. Far more likely then to walk away fit for service. 
 

there are reasons why many pilots preferred ditching.

Well there is serious issues with the game, some of which have been around since the first version was released on the market.  SOME issues have existed since il2 1946 had its last official update. 

 

But in the modern il2 world, things only exist as a problem in certain situations

 

1. profiles with "founder"  "tester" "moderator"  complain about it

2. friends of number one complain about it

3. it affects members of 1 and 2 who use VR

4. it suites the hidden agenda of 1 and 2

5. it affects the highest ranked, and most vocal members of the online multi player community

6. it only angers/affects the "important" people who have advertised the game online communites and you tube for years.

 

Serious issues like the new "landing is now suicide" bug, is well low on the totem pole as it is NOT an issue as it doesnt impact those folks as those folks are only interested in making multi player happy. 

 

But if landing was made mandatory for online players in order to have their kills counted, the developer team would spend every waking hour having the problem fixed.

Well, before pocketshaver gets this thread locked, I wanted to say that in certain situations it is still just as easy to survive crash landings. Sliding down the runway with wheels up is as easy as it ever was. You can't hit the tarmac going 400 mph but then I don't think an airplane would hold together in RL either. The ground outside of an airfield is more unforgiving but still doable. The pilot will be injured more often than not but will still survive. As long as you hold your airspeed to just above the stall and drop a wing or the tail, it is survivable most of the time.

 

As a long time, self important member of this community, all I can say to pocketshaver is "oh yeah?"

I also forgot 

 

that if things need to be changed to make people want to get the next game module, they will get it. 

 

hence the minute the final release date of the normandy module, and release of the p51-b is set in stone, somehow the 50 cal is suddenly "needing to be changed to AP to be realistic" despite the fact that the ammo was always FMJ, which technically DOES have a mild steel penetrator core in it...

Almost every other post of yours is a complaint about every possible aspect of the game, whether that's graphics, flight model, damage model, pilot physiology and whatnot. The rest are unfounded and usually untrue claims about the game engine, developers or forum users.

 

If IL2 brings you so much frustration, then perhaps it's time to recognise that this game just isn't for you. There are excellent other combat flight simulators out there that may be more to your liking.

Gee,  being insulted for not having a 3,000 cockpit setup in my office.. or being accused of being a bad pilot because i experience glitches THAT OTHERS HAVE FOUND, because i dont have a 500$ joy stick.  Getting racist memes posted to my responses that disagree with what "founders" and "testers" and "developers"  claim as factual data ie, videos showing API hits on planes to prove we need more powerful BALL ammo for the 50...  

The constant post of irrelevant, supposed to be insulting videos, comments, to make me shut up because the "self important ones" dont like teh fact that in version 4.602b i could fly a E-7 into the ground, nose first or tail first at 400km with flaps up, and SURVIVE and do beuatiful skids in snow or grass and LIVE every time... simply shows that the game is bad, but the community itself is a twisted thing.

but one of these FINE  up standing members posted some racist monkey eating a banana meme at me because i proved that a british plane that needed 59 rounds of 50bmg AND and 54 round sof hispano 20mm to kill a single plane was not proof the 50 caliber sucked.. 

 

same post a moderator acknowledged he or she was writing posts for me, and editing what i did post on my own.

i complained about the racist meme in the thread and suddenly i was banned for an interesting length of time.

Not going to address some of the nonsense I see here, but I do believe that pilots are dying too easily in off field landings now. It is supper easy to find real life examples of warbirds being landed off airport, or with gear up without injuring the pilot. Try to replicate any of the landings I am linking here in game, and your are likely to die with the current pilot physiology model.

Planes don't react like this in the sim. You can make a landing just as, if not softer than these, and still die.

I've been here for a couple of years now, and although I've had my disagreements, I've never been insulted for having a cheap cockpit setup. I've flown for years with a €40 stick and even my current stick is far from $500, and I have never had anyone mock me because of it. I've never had any founder, tester or developer post racist memes because I didn't agree with whatever they posted (nor seen anyone do so - I would report them if they did). If you have experienced these things, then maybe, just maybe, you should have a look at your own behaviour and what about it makes people get so annoyed, instead of playing the blame game.

 

Start with not offending the entire community like you do in this single post.

Only today I crashlanded an Anton 8, wheels up, going about 200kph. Didn't die, admittedly though, it was directly into the sun, and I'd just had communion at my local church, followed by three pints of Guinness at my other local church, "The Celt".

is not landing on ground something to do with in settings we have a terrain roughness set to off,low ,medium or high i set mine to low and seems i can land more easy on any type land,as far as parachute onto water or trees i would not want to do in real life

There are times when hard landings inexplicably kill the pilot, but they're rare for me.

 

The trick to a good ramming isn't to take the word literally. It's to match speed perfectly with your target, and then gently saw off a part of their tail.

 

In both cases, you need a light touch. I would say it's like caressing a woman, but I've never known the touch of a woman.

Its on both the rise of flight forum AND this one... alot of brave birds love to beat on those who dont use multi player, i took alot of flak because i dont do the online crap. And becaus i proudly dont do the online stuff, anything i say is given a bucket of puppy leavings when it doesnt agree with their narrow view on things. 

 

Most discussions such as the ammunition nerfing/buffing, p40 engine, german plane and ammunition performance is purely on the lines of 

 

"i use an Nvidia video card, so therefore anything you experience never happened as it only happens with AMD cards"

"I use a virpil joystick, so the control issues you have in game are only a result of bad piloting skills or using an inferior stick"

"i cant defend my statements, so im rubber and your glue,,,,,"

"You cant fight or beat an 110g2 while flying a p51-d because you werent wearing the right shirt/shoes/shoelaces or didnt drink an american beer the night before"

 

And not surprisingly, some of the most self proclaimed "polite welcoming gentlemen of the game" are the most vitriolic about things that disagree with what they say or feel.

You do know that the vast majority of users don't play multiplayer right? something like 80% . . . You aren't special.

I don't know man, I mean. I know people on here can be rude or unhelpful sometimes, but I read through a lot of your stuff and it just seems like a lot of it is one sided ranting... like right now. 

 

Usually when you take such a one sided and fanatical response to stuff, people push back just that much. Just chill out, enjoy your game time. The game has bugs and needs some stuff, but it isn't the end of the world.

 

You don't have to victimize yourself, just act normal.

I've very rarely flown online in the 20 years I have been flying IL2 Sturmovik/Forgotten Battles/BoX, etc. In all that time, no one has "beat on" me when I disagree with them. Maybe it's because I can back up my statements with facts. You might want to give it a try.

 

Unfortunately I have a feeling that logic and reason will not improve your outlook at this point. Insulting almost everyone and continuing the way you are going now will just make you a nuisance and get you banned at some point.

I got banned because i complained about one of your elite members of the multi player servers putting a racist monkey meme on a thread i made disproving the need to change the 50 caliber ammo..   that was a 1 week banning, for violating rule 6. so apparently it was a moderator who posted the racist meme... because i complained about that complaint in the thread in a direct response to said racist monkey post

 6. It is forbidden to discuss the actions of moderators and administrators in any form on the forum. All questions are to be sent via "personal message" to the administrator/moderator.
Violations of this rule will result in the following:
 
First offense - 3 days ban on entry
Second offense - 7 days of the ban on entry
Third offense - 30 day ban on entry

 

 

 

Then i got banned for a while because i had the balls to point out that a need to use 59 rounds of 50 bmg Ball ammo AND 54 rounds of hispano 20mm HE and AP  was NOT proof that the 50 cal needed to be increased in power... seriously that bit of "proof" shows the hispano ammunition needs some power increases to it.

 

then mister smith gave me a ban on jan 3 for 30 days for violating rule 6, but the funny thing was... the only thing that might have been a problem was in a thread 

 

were SOMEHOW all the "bad" content was removed... as well as about 2 days worth of posts...   HMM...... editing the thread as well that takes a moderator to do i beleive

 

 

 

however the following rule has never been enforced here...  rule 26 no downloading skins, images, etc showing nazi symbols to the forum

Nope, not at all. The fact that so many people here would rather see you go is most definitely those people's fault, not yours. The fact that you got banned three times* and you got posts removed is surely the fault of the moderators, "elite members" and "multiplayers"; it's definitely not anyting in your posts. When people say you spread lies, you are certainly not lying, just telling "alternative facts". When people feel annoyed because they think you don't do anything else than complain, they should actually be grateful for bringing all those horrendous bugs in this terrible game to our attention. There's absolutely no single reason at all for any sane person to dislike you.

 

* If you don't want number 4 coming up, you better edit your previous post since it breaks rule 6. Of course, there's actually nothing wrong with your posts; if you'd get banned it must be because of our "corrupt" Moderators. Or Founders or Testers, as they're all conspiring.
