This could be a easy to make collector plane which could bring some cash, basicly slightly different wing than the one on D-3 plus the lovely 20mm cannons.

I am almost certain we will see the D5 when/if we get a late war eastern front module.

There are a lot of other internal differences than that - different cockpit layout, Stuvi gunsight, etc.
