Reverb G2 revision2

Is there by any chance someone who would know if Reverb G2 revision2 is worth waiting for ? I am mainly worried about the  better  FOV  of Revision 2.  (I would like to buy Reverb G2 from Amazon, there are some nice prices for Like New reverbs, but they are surely Version 1 in Europe)

Reverb G2 Revision 2 is mainly for better tracking. Also currently only available in North America as far as I know. I am not aware of a better FOV with it.

I thought there was something with the 2 piece facepad that increases FOV when only 1 part  is used

The updated version is available in the uk so would imagine its also available in eu.

There are plenty of third party gaskets out there.

I bought one which was 3d printed but it was 1. too close to the lenses, 2. not comfortable material 3. not rigid enough, hence flexing too much, not very good when the sweet spot is so small, to move so much to flexibility.

 

I was really hoping rev2 gasket would solve those 3 points.

All Reverb G2’s sold from the HP website should be version 2’s which includes the ability to remove a spacer from the face mask thereby improving fov and sweet spot. It does a bit but the biggest issue I still have with g2 is the small sweet spot.
