Angry_Kitten Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Well I once posited it would be nice to have the software automatically update the british gunsights for range and wingspan when the mission opens up. QMB was taking a LONG time to load, was using fancier clouds, weather, 1830 flight time, clouds actually look better at this time of day.. Anyhoos, as it was loading very slowly i got to read all of the messages from the game.. and it IS now updating the gunsights with range data and wingspan. The issues for bug In each instance, i used 260 meters convergence settings in QMB.. in cockpit the message is "setting to 250 yards" Most definitely a bad conversion factor in there... 260 meters yields 283 yards And wingspan is wrong as well. It sets it to fighter wingspan, despite flying against a c47. And it only actuallys says the wingspan when flying the Hurricane

No, sorry, that is just not the case. Set your convergence to 1000 meters before generating a mission, and you'll see that the range on the sight is still 250 yards when the mission starts. Your theory about wingspan being updated during mission generation is also easily disprovable using similar methods. Edited February 5, 2022 by LukeFF
