Hello Chaps, After a considerable break mainly due to my secondary addiction (Sim Racing) I've been back flying planes. I have a significant number of controllers from numerous manufacturers but have always found trim controls lacking precision. My latest purchase being the Falcon Trim Box from Etsy and although very nice piece of engineering I still found three turns inadequate for my OCD requirements. It was also awkward to find a good mounting spot my setup. So after exhausting pretty much all my options I built this very simple box that fits on the Monster style desk mounts. It contains three very high precision ten turn potentiometers which give an excellent amount of resolution whilst still allowing swift large movements when required. Back in the ROF days I used to make controllers out of love but these days with limited time this one was out of necessity. I simply couldn't find anything else on the market with the required level of precision for most flight sims. I've used encoder based solutions which are good for small adjustments but not for large movements. Anyway it has plastic knobs in the picture (matches my F18 kit) but I'll probably fit metal items at some point. I hope if there is anyone out there facing the same dilemma and that doesn't want to use a hat switch to trim this maybe useful. You will need three pots, a BU0836 and a 3D printer... Wow. That's dinky. I might well give it a go; I have spare space on my MonsterTech mounts Thanks! ?

That makes me want to go out and buy a monstermount so I can put one on it.

This is awesome.  Thank you.

Brilliant! Looks like it would work on any aluminum profile rig.
