Collisions in EU DED official, if other servers, then those too

Lately I have a lot more collisions than back in the day. Did the programmers change that in the last year? I really liked it the way it was before. Or does it use more memory? I really feel it changed to more collisions

I'm seeing more collisions on my little private server that I host on my own machine for the BlitzPigs and our friends.  Aircraft in close proximity explode as if hitting each other, even though they do not touch.

 

Been happening since the last hotfix.

Yes, I've been reviewing some clips from both parties where they were both adamant the other is flying directly into them. But on their own tracks, they both broke well in time to live - then explode. Something has changed. I think the change is also what is causing the random deaths on ditchings.

Just seen this post but I have been wondering about this too. I have had a number of collisions where teh two planes looked to have plenty of room between them to pass safely yet collided and exploded. I have been assuming it was some kind of lag effect but perhaps there is more to it?
