I have the X56 stick and throttle set, along with the pedals. They work fine ... when I program the bindings in IL-2.

But the throttle has three modes. That would be great to be able to use. But when I program the bindings into the HOTAS, rather than in settings in Il-2, things don't work.

Is there a way to make use of the modes on the throttle with Il-2?

Thanks.

You need to download and install the X56 Hotas software from the Logitech homepage. Then you  can program each of the switches and buttons to a command/action, you want it to do in the different modes. That allowes you to use the same button/switch to do different stuff, according to the mode you' re using. There is a video on youtube, where Froogle explaines how to use the logitech software for the back then X55. I hope, this helps.
