Field of View Change

Is there any possible way to expand the FOV? I have a wide screen with 3440X1440. But the view is still compacted to what I could see on a normal screen. The whole screen is being used, just to note. The problem is when I turn my head (Pilot's) the gauges become enlarged and closer and so does the wing. It defeats my reason for getting a wide screen. What can I do to change this?
