IL-2 virtual flying school

Hi there,

 

A long, long time ago, in the times when Il-2 with PF, AEP etc. ruled the skies, there was a virtual flying school. 

 

I absolutely do not recall how exactly it was named...

 

It employed A6M Zero as trainer aircraft and led the trainee through a series of lessons, from basic flying, formation flying, maneuvers and aerobatics, to aerial combat.

 

I remember I graduated from the virtual school and been looking for for my diploma, which was in jpg or PDF...however it was so long ago that I cant recall when it was exactly so I could even nail down the email address that I sported at the time.

 

Anybody remembers such a virtual school?

I actually went thru a training class with Joint Ops back in the day.  Trained on their Normandy map and flew their student Zero as well.

I always wondered what happened to those guys.  The very last I heard of them was years ago I went back to their site to see if they still had some classes going and I was informed that it was nothing like the old days and a lot of original people had left.  Almost made it sound like there was some kind of hostile takeover by another site or something.  Thay was a ling time ago though and my memory may be fuzzy.  Anyways I had a lot of fun there.  Pretty sure I found all of their material and the training base files recently on an old hard drive.
