Stab/JG1_Klaiber Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 JG1 was founded in March 1992, about a month after the Wing Walkers. https://jg1.org/richthofen/history/ This means that both squadrons are turning 30 this year! We're looking to do something special for both groups, most visibly within Flying Circus and IL-2: Great Battles. We also want to reconnect with people! If you are a former member of JG1 or the Wing Walkers or just someone from the "old days" who flew with/against us, post below and let us know you're around. As more details are published about planned events, we'll make sure you're kept in the loop. Also, if anyone has any ideas about what type of events or virtual get-togethers we could do, we'd love to hear your thoughts! 1 1
J37_Daedallus Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Congratulations, and I'm sure there will be some exciting events to commemorate this achievement ?? Salute! 1

Two to four pilots could play against each other in 10-minute chunks. 3 deaths would also end the match. Edited February 1, 2022 by Stab/JG1_Klaiber

ST_Catchov Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 The Wing Walkers 30th reunion event was spectacular accordion to reports. Accordion groove, lederhosen and feathers is hard to beat. In short, it rocked ! Well done WW !
ST_Catchov Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Whoa sans accordion ! Smooth. How about this .... 1
