Hobel Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Sorry I'm trying to find another topic through this way. in the other thread it was partly about destroyed propellers from WW2 planes that still made it home. There were some stories about it and I would like to look there again, but unfortunately I can't find it anymore. "To escape from pursuing fighters, Ofw.Bach of the 1.(F)/123 pushed his Ju88A-6/u(not sure about the version) so close to the Mediterranean Sea that parts of the propeller blades flew off due to water contact. The machine landed on 25.12.1943 smoothly on its homeport Perth. on its homeport Perugia(Italy)."
