Patricks Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 (edited) Partially because i'm old and stubborn and partially because I just hate not being able to read certain gauges in flight (easily) I looked for a way to export gauges to my 2 8" Lilliput flatscreens as I do now in IL-2 BoX using the fantastic "IL-2 Dials" app from Blorg. I found this thread on the ATAG CLoD site about the TF DeviceLink and the Virtual Cockpit app. My pet peeve was the Compass and Directional Gyro in the RAF planes being a PITA to align, let alone SEE/FLY/ALIGN at the same time as even if done stationary on the ground before takeoff it would still need to be done again several times during flight. Using the VC client/server and playing with the ini for "RAF Compasses" profile I was able to easily get what I want, and now use the two rotary encoders on a panel I made (PoKeys) to quickly align whenever I want. You can simply run a 2nd VC client for a 2nd screen if you wany also, which I tested out in the sim.. worked flawlessly. The end result (running in "Test Mode", not aligned of course) - Edited January 29, 2022 by Icer 2
Patricks Posted January 31, 2022 Author Posted January 31, 2022 Finished ALL the cockpits for my 8" (600x800) Lilliputs, broke each plane down into Left MFD / Right MFD with most engine gauges on the LMFD, Navigation and Others on the RMFD. You simply run a client for each MFD . Here is an example of a twin engine JU88A1. 2 1
