FPS drop sicnificantly when looking at or flying above the sea

Hello everybody

This issue has been addressed already in another post

but that topic was never continued

So I decided to do it myself

My PC is, to put things lightly, a potato, it's probably below the minimum specs required for the sim to work, nevertheless I still fly IL-2 and it's a lot of fun... just not when flying on the kuban map. Whenever I fly near the sea or above it, my FPS drop from around 40 down to under 30, and it really begins to stutter then.

(I know the resolution isn't great, I messed up something when I converted the files from a .bmp to a .jpg)

In singleplayer it still is somewhat flyable, but when I choose to fly multiplayer or a campaign, the FPS go out of the window, dropping below 20

(I messed up the converting again)

As you can see on the map, the airfield is very close to the sea, and the other planes and objects in the mission don't make it much better

As a side note, when I fly more distance away from the sea my FPS go up to normal again

(Yay, converting...)

And to end things of, it happens on the Bodenplatte map aswell.... also only when flying around the sea

(You probably can't tell, but the FPS counter says 25)

My PC specs are:

CPU:   Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz   2.11 GHz
RAM:    8,00 GB
(Can't find information on the GPU in case I have any, my PC is a notebook, I don't think they have one)

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone would be willing to help, or at least tell me why it happens, I've tried everything with the graphics settings, but nothing seems to work :(

Greetings

Victor
