P-51 B/C gunsight

We can have this type of viewfinder. The control visible in the image below is fixed, positioned at zero. Is it adjusted, if so how?

And what is its function, correction of the aiming point when dropping bombs or firing rockets?

A-1 bombing head. This gunsight sighting head doubled as a bombsight because the reflector glass angle could be adjusted from guns to computing the trajectory of a falling bomb. In addition to P-40's, This A-1 bombing head/gunsight was also used on early P-51's, early P-47's, P-39's, as well as B-25's and other light bombers.

No, I think.

It completely the same like Pe-2 gunsight. It must be adjustable, but we wait it for the years...

Only the Typhoon has a fixed reflector gunsight that is adjustable up and down right now.

Make this one movable to „Aus“ to have a confirmation for the status of Bomb safety switch ?

Regrettable, but not entirely necessary.  With just a bit of practice "dive" bombing, or skip bombing of ships (my personal favorite) can be gotten down to a pretty repeatable thing.  Oh how I wish we had a Kate or an Avenger to play with though.

yes, of course we can do without it.
But it is visually invasive and cannot be used.

Do you know about the plans to expand this adjustment on other planes?

I'd like if it could be moved. I would also like for every knob and switch to be interactable, then again, it isn't necessary.
 

Called it OCD but It does bother me that some planes have a (game) feature that other planes don't

I've been hoping since day one to get this player controllable but I don't see it happening any time soon.
