AEST Squad

Hello Sim Pilots in the Australian Eastern Standard Time and nearby Time Zones!

 

We all share the issue of the bulk of Squads being in the northern hemisphere.  And their prime-time flying (2000hr) is about O'dark hundred (0400hrs) our time.

 

Seeking expressions of interest from players in/near AEST getting together for some BOS time.  Perhaps with a view to forming a BOS Squadron down the track.

 

Rather than recreating all the flight squadron structure (website, server, etc) I think it would be preferable to tack an AEST squadron onto an existing outfit.  

So is there any existing outfit interested in fostering an Oz arm of their BOS operation or an AEST mob about to expand into BOS.

 

Where this goes, if anywhere will depend on level of interest.

 

Please indicate level of interest.

1.  Informal mid-week get together

2.  Build an individual AEST squadron

3.  Be part of another outfit.

Greetings Oceania pilots,

 

The USA is kind enough to be tucked into their beds during our prime flying time, ie evenings.

Good opportunity for pilots who have some flying time in the AEST evening timezone to get together.

Nothing too serious, just get together for a casual scrap.

For those new to Teamspeak, it is a free download and is easy to setup.

After downloading, goto Settings, Setup Wizard, then follow the prompts.

 

Please setup your comms to be "press-to-talk".  You will see this option during the setup.

 

Then go to the bookmarks and enter the BOS Teamspeak Channel.

 

I plan to be online on Sunday and Tuesday evenings from 2000hrs (8pm) - USA Expert Server - will move if that is the group preference.

Hi,

 

Hopefully we will get a few planes out on Sunday.

Maybe to start things slowly we will have a punt on the Normal Server.  

Easier to manage if anyone needs a hand with Teamspeak or other help.

 

No worries if you cannot be a regular.   Just an opportunity for Oceania flyers to get together at a designated time.

The plan is there is no plan!  The more the merrier of course!
