Head movements limits with fw190-A5

Hello there,

 

I am playing the excellent Steel Birds campaign and i noticed my head can go outside of the cockpit and there does not seem to be any cockpit limits in the fw190-a5.

 

Is it normal? Did i miss any settings or is it a bug?

If you are flying in VR you have enabled the external visuals... Check in the difficult settings

Thank you very much. I would never have guessed where that settings is.

 

It is a little bit counter intuitive. When flying in the plane i expect my head to be limited in movement by cockpit, but i might still be interested in checking other views.

 

Does that mean that it will also prevent me to see the external views of other planes and object?

Yes, if the external visuals are enabled you can also exit from your cockpit with your head. Otherwise no, but you cannot use the external visuals

If you set limit vr view in camera settings then you can have both if you have external views enabled with custom difficulty settings. At least that's how it works for me in SP mode.
