Cockpit is extremely grainy and pixaleted on almost all settings

Hi,

I started up il2 bos on a new laptop and the cockpit is extremely grainy and pixaleted (photo attached). I tried almost every setting combination and the problem disappears only when using MSAA antialiasing. (4x FXAA doesnt help).

 

 

Trouble is my computer is not powerful enough to handle MSAA at any usable framerate. The graphics card is NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060. Is this a problem with nvidia drivers?

Well, judging the picture you attached I only see pixelation on the transparent parts of the cockpit - to me it seems that the rest is OK. So, first of all, make
sure your laptop is running with your graphic card and not by accident with your integrated graphic card. This happens quite often on Notebooks/Laptops.
Second, make sure you're running the latest NVidia drivers for your GEFORCE RTX 3060 (card isn't that bad after all). Finally, try not to push your graphic
card too much, meaning don't set all settings in the NVidia Control Panel to the max. - Try using only the slider first (quality - balanced - performance) and
set it to performance.

Thank you, indeed it was running on the integrated gpu. Problem solved!
