Enceladus828 Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 (edited) Two and a half weeks late on this, but what year did you like better, 2020, 2021, or were both the same... aka neither? For me, though some aspects of 2021 were better than 2020, neither year was better than the other. Edited January 19, 2022 by Enceladus

Chief_Mouser Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 No idea why I looked at this. Wish I hadn't.
Ghost666 Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 2021 because it got me to 2022 when I will retire! 2
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 2066, because that's when I get to Semi-Retire at 72 while still being a Part Time Second Engineer on some Godforsaken Vessel on the now permanently unfrozen North West Passage. 1
spreckair Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Retired in January of 2021, so that is my choice. Now I can fly to my heart's content.
Lusekofte Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 2020 I got fed up and started my own company. Thinking I was better off being my own boss 2021. I discovered I was a shitty boss. Never worked so much in my life. Fu.. me, 2022 I hope I get fired 10
Jaws2002 Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 (edited) Both are going to be recognized as some of the lowest points of our civilization. 2021 was clearly worse than 2020, and it doesn't look like we are heading in the right direction, so I expect 2022 to be worse than both. easterling77 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) Yup both years were for the trash but I don't think it will end with this two years. 2020 started the year in perfect mood because a family member cheated death after 1 1/2 months of hospital in late 2019 - than came c**** and my job burned me 2021 .....job burned me ongoing and brought me the ? invection but I got lucky and got through it. At least these years gave me experience and the possibility to realize what I have and to be happy and grateful for it. 2022....still in the same job in same conditions but with a lot more f*** y** and take it easy atitude? marycarneg Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 I think that 2021 is of course the best year because the coronovirus will end soon. I hope that soon many of us will return to normal life.
Ghost666 Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 I never left normal life. I just had to put up with others that did. 1
cardboard_killer Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 I'd say 2022 is getting suckier by the minute. 4
Eldur Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 I somehow must have dreamt posting here, but apparently, I haven't... fair enough. Both years sucked a lot. Lost my totally underpaid job in 20 (at least I still was employed until 2 years ago), couldn't get a new one because of "it", haven't seen friends and family since "it" broke out and the BNT vaccine gave me myocarditis that was no fun having to mess with (according to the doctors, of course, the vaccine was not the reason for that, but they failed at finding any other, everything they checked so far is just textbook), resulting in nasty lymphedema that I'll probably never ever get rid of. Also, my migraines got worse and I seem to be getting cataracts again, I already have both my lenses taken out years ago in conjunction with glaucoma surgeries. Those two years basically destroyed my life which already was pretty broken, I get literally no support, and I'm pretty pissed. 1
TheBlackPenguin Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 2022 came onto the scene and said to 20/21 "hold my beer".
Hoss Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Everything after June 30, 2021........... Retired for the second and last time. It's all good now. 1
Feathered_IV Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 In 2020 people were showing signs of pulling together more. In 2021-22 it seems like a race to see who can be the most stupid.
Vig Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 "I'd say 2022 is getting suckier by the minute." On a positive note, I'm glad that I no longer have Titan II silos in my back yard.
cardboard_killer Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Just hope that everyone knows that for sure. Cause I'd probably target an empty silo, just in case.
Guest deleted@83466 Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 (edited) These are very strange days we live through. But probably not. Probably this is norm, and we’ve just been in a lull long enough to become complacent and malcontent. I just finished up ‘1883’, and I’m glad I’m not shot with an arrow through the liver.? ST_Catchov Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 What I've learned over the last two years is that there's really only two kinds of people out there. Those with toilet paper and those without. 3
Feathered_IV Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Not enough suspicion has been levelled at the world's toilet paper manufacturers
cardboard_killer Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Who needs tp when you've just shit your pants? 1
Vig Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Not me, man, we have already been burnt out and concentration camped and reconstructed, these recent years have been mild. Just watching the show.
jollyjack Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 I thought nothing could be worse than both 2020 and 2021 ...
Vig Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Cheer up, COVID is over now. New events have been scheduled to occupy our thoughts.
Chief_Mouser Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 (edited) ? 2022. Edited March 2, 2022 by 216th_Cat
Jason_Williams Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Ok guys. This is a pointless poll. The world has been and currently is a mess. We all know this. Jason
