Tobii Eyetracker

Hey,

 

I recently bought a Tobii eyetracker 5. It turns out it wont work out of the box with Cliffs of Dover, So i had to get FaceTrackNoir and a few plugins to get it to function. However it's all janky ingame. So i'm in need of a settings profile as i've no idea where to even begin tweaking my settings. If anyone has one (or has other advice) i'd really appreciate it.

Hi Brave,

I am using Tobii Eye Tracker 5 with FaceTrackNoir in Cliffs of Dover with no problems. Make sure "Tracker Source" is set to Tobii5 Tracker, "Filter" shows Accela Filter Mk2 and "Game protocol" shows Freetrack 2.1.

I have attached my settings file below for CLOD, hope this is a good starting point for you..

What IL-2 ?

 

- IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 (released 2001, acquired its current name in 2006)

 

- IL-2 Sturmovik: Dover series (released 2011, acquired its current name in 2017)

 

- IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles series (released 2013, acquired its current name in 2017)

I have just found your note on the IL2 forum site and wanted to ask if you managed to get IL-2 Cliffs of Dover working with the Tobii Eyetracker.

 

I have tried to download the config file uploaded by Cub_1 but it looks like it is no longer available.

 

I'd be grateful for any advice you have since I am in teh same position and just can't get the Eyetrackewr working correctly with Cliffs of Dover.

Freetrack is no more available

Gday All

I have recently got the Tobii eyetracker 5 and have purchased FaceTrackNoir and got all the plugins.

I was getting the jittery screen the same as Brave and tried a few options but nothing changed still shakey and jittery

I used Cub1 settings and she is super smooth thank you for your hard work and making this an easy transition.

 

If i can help the text file Cub1 uploaded is to go into The FaceTrackNoir default ini . I copied the ini and renamed it to default-CLOD.ini .

Path C:\Program Files (x86)\FaceTrackNoIR_v200\Settings

Copy default.ini

Rename default.ini to default-CLOD

Copy Text lines that Cub1 uploaded into Default-CLOD.ini and Save

Change profile settings in FaceTrackNoir to default-CLOD.ini see below image
