Hey, thanks for the kind words.

 

I still exist.  I recently had a second kid, got out of the military, moved cities, had COVID twice, and bought a new 1440p monitor, not necessarily in that order.  But as a result:

 

- My little guy is still young so it's super busy and I have almost no spare time and haven't had a good night's sleep in forever

- I'm studying for the entrance exams for grad school and that's sucking up what little time I have not spent parenting or keeping active

- With the new monitor, my rig can't record at 1440p without stutters and the ongoing GPU shortage means until recently it's been very hard to get a new GPU and my poor little Vega can't handle the load.  I refuse to pay scalper prices out of principle.

 

Also my wingman got a new job and hasn't been flying either.  I miss IL2 and hope to get back into it maybe by September; we'll see.  I'm sure it will take me some time to work the rust off.  I also see the Mossie is out; I look forward to getting my arse handed to me by it, switching to Red, and then getting shot down in it.
