Feldgrun Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 For some reason, when I start the game flying the FW190 A5, it's as if I'm a small child sitting up against the controls. I'm too low and too close. I use a TrackIR variant and when I sit up in my seat, it looks normal-ish, but it's not normal. It doesn't happen in any other plane, including the A3 or A8. I can't zoom out to fix the issue. What's going on? How can I fix this?
FlyingH Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Go to L2.../Grat Battles/Data/Luascripts/snapviews and find the FW190 A5 file and delete it. The game will restore the file next time you start it. (you may also copy/paste the line from the /defaults folder in the same folder)
Mtnbiker1998 Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Move your head back to where it should be and press F10. this will save it as the new default head position and fix your issue. There really needs to be a sticky or a FAQ for this. Its not a bug

As pointed out, deleting the corresponding file will restore the original default value, or just move around to the position you want as default, and press the keyind to save your personal new default "snapview". To avoid this happening again, since you use TrackIR anyway, you might want to delete the snapview keybinds altogether, at least the "save snapview" one.
Feldgrun Posted February 3, 2022 Author Posted February 3, 2022 This was the fix! Thanks for your help.
