Peasant Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 I see no penetrating hits on the driver's plate and turret front. Some of the crew were alive possibly because of the transmission catching most of the shell fragments from penetrating hits.

Look at the armor block in front of his glass block. 5 hours ago, Frinik22 said: So many holes! Must be a Swiss panzer! It is Bavarian Emmentaler Panzer. 2
Frinik22 Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 (edited) That Emmenthaler looks tough to eat. Some Soviets lost their teeth while trying to have a slice.? Even if the transmission had stopped the shots the crew would have most likely bailed out as the tank would be disabled and could not keep fighting. I also see two impacts where the driver's vision slit is located which means the driver would have been killed or incapacitated. This is the problem with damage modelling in tank sims , unless you have a supercomputer with petaflops of calculating power to factor in all the possibilities you can never really truly recreate all the possible real-life damage scenarios and the game engine you use can only give you an approximate result. ShampooX Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Looks like we have our first interesting cage match: Sherman vs. PZ3. I 1

Once reached without permanent damage, it is impossible to destroy them even at 200m distance regardless of the type of shell used. Moreover, it destroys you once its back is turned... While at 1500m they immobilize you by breaking your tracks... And it's 10 minutes to repair. It is sometimes painful and infuriating at the end of the game.

Frinik22 Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Pénible should be translated as annoying rather than painful .
