FTC_Zero Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 How does those setting affect airplane spotting? Is there a difference between "High" and "Ultra"?
SharpeXB Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 I don’t think there’s a difference in this aspect between the graphic presets. 1

The rendering distance of objects like trees, villages/buildings etc. are rendered at 7 km in Ultra and at 5 km in High. Some other things like shadows, light and clouds may also differ... But it's no a huge difference visually speaking. Performance wise it may have some impact, especially in MP. Cheers

Cheers Yeah, from ultra to high gives me 10-15FPS and i would prefer it in that way if plane range spotting does not change in MP.

This has nothing to do with spotting. This is a completely different story. Planes are rendered at about 7 km, no matter what preset you use, be it low, balanced, high or ultra. 1

Let's say between 15/20 km (they were fat bombers) 1
