[_FLAPS_]RogoRogo Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Brief description: In the FW-190 modules the instrument panel is reflected in the forwaard canopy sides despite this not being possible. Detailed description, conditions: Il-2 has recently introduced very nice and technically excellent canopy reflection also reflecting the aiframes instrument panel in the canopy elements under varying lighting conditions. This must really be commended as it is extremely fidelic and also just plainly enjoyable to look at. In the FW-190 aiframes a minor bug seems to have arisen though. The instrument panel is reflected in the foward canopy sides despite this being not physically posible under any lighting conditions - the FW-190 has a "cabover" forward canopy with the entire instrument panel/dashbord block being inside the cockpit aft the forward canopy root. This should be checked for all cabover canopies in the franchise and it does not require overly complex and may be resolved by a simple boolean whitelist/blacklist check for the active aiframe module resulting in a comment.out of the panel reflection in the forward canopy. Again - the reflections itself are both visually and technically done very well, given the engine state and overall concept and whoever was involved should be positively commendend for it. WORKAROUND (temporary): No workaround possible as no player agency present. Additional assets (videos, screenshots, logs):NO TRACKFILE NEEDED - permanent bug , reproducable on any OS, any system, any circumstancesExemplary Screenshot attached (in this case FW-190 A8) Your PC config data (OS, drivers, specific software): not bug-relevant or interdependent but dxdiag attached DxDiag.txt 1
