I too would really enjoy if we could have like “mini-campaigns” that aren’t as big in scope but give you interesting new career chapters and cover interesting moments in history. Like for example they could experiment with adding a career chapter and AQMB set on Prokhorovka. Any ace who was anyone on either side flew over Kursk, so it would be really fun to have a miniature career chapter in that setting.

That could also be a possible way of approaching less popular theatres... as the overall budget would be lower and easier to regain. The same approach could be used to add more recon variants - or to add a bunch of artillery spotters (L-5, U-2VS, Fi-156, Fw-189) or expansions to existing modules.

Considering how inexpensive BoX modules are, I'm surprised anyone would preclude any theater. There are theaters I don't care for (e.g. Korea), but I can't go on a date for the $80 it costs for a new module. Even with limited income, the $ per hour of enjoyment return is pretty darn high. And I could always wait for a sale, too.

To  me this franchise has become a fps game for fighterpilots. Only sufficient content of interest for me is aqmb.

I wont support anything anymore if it do not contain planes of particular interest

Career and SP in general is a dead environment. I look for content of interest for coop.

I feel like you've been saying that for the past five years, but keep pre-ordering modules.

Thank goodness for Pat Wilson! Knocks the in-house careers into a cocked hat and very good for co-ops too. I do agree that bombers are getting short shrift in GB; fighters most love, ground attackers plenty love, bombers bugger all. Is this because there were no decent bombers in the VVS?  Something culturally insignificant and thus not appreciated by the team?

For thouse who still think PTO without carriers is something considered:

"- Unlike other modern sims where an aircraft carrier, if modeled, is a small fraction of the whole product and any shortcomings of its modeling don’t affect the quality of the whole sim, in the case of an integral, all-in-one BoX title about the war in the Pacific EVERYTHING should revolve around carrier operations and a carrier is ought to be its central part.
This means that any shortcomings of the carrier modeling and interaction with it, any performance and other issues that may arise become super-critical, jeopardizing the whole product.
In the current situation this makes it a huge risk we can't afford to spend 3 years on."

So its Midway or no PTO, and it seams its clear that its still no PTO.

And for thouse thinking lets do Norway, Murmansk, Malta, Crete and so on... and test carriers there first, if your able to make even one carrier at level they aim for game, then you go PTO with it you dont waist its hype on other places.

So even if next DLC is Sicily 43 Husky invasion it would be without invasion fleet and carriers, its posible as they can be off map.

Channel 43 is still best bet on next DLC considering popularity of west front.

It’s been longer than that.
