dumb question probably

Hey guys i'm 100% new to flight sims, and PC gaming for that matter (just got my first PC this week) i saw that bos was on sale and loved watching game play on it so much i decided to buy it..... before my pc came in....... on my personal laptop. My question is simple and most likely very dumb but i am curious if i will be be able to login to my  IL2 account on my PC and download from there even though i bought it on another device! Please forgive my ignorance i have played nothing but console my whole life and have very minimal clue to how PCs work.

No problem, just don't try opening the game on two PC's at once, your account will more than likely get locked.  But IL-2 don't care what PC you log in and play on.  You can have it installed on any PC you own, just remember the one at a time rule.

IL2 is playable across multiple platforms.  You just need your username and password.

 

Purchasing something associates a license with your account.  When you download the game you get everything.  The licenses determine what you are allowed to do.  Licenses are updated on your local system every time you press the green "Enter" button and log in.

 

With that in mind, you can buy on one computer and download the game on another.  As soon as you login via the game(the green "Enter" button on the start page) your licenses are downloaded and you can use everything that you have bought.
